I am currently working through the pre-intermediate course and the pronunciation course. I am not exaggerating when I say that I like everything about them. To begin with, the materials do not miss a single aspect on the road to learning the Serbian language. The units are highly didactic, original, and a lot of fun. I personally enjoy the video approach, as the units can be viewed, re-viewed, and studied as much as the learner deems necessary. Each unit has a dedicated downloadable audio clip as well as worksheets. I really appreciate the extensive unit vocabulary lists. Who doesn’t like to test their comprehension with a quiz? You will not be disappointed. Everyone has questions, and Dragana and Miljana are quite proactive in providing answers and explanations. They are experts in their field, and their generosity of spirit and kindness are refreshing. Included in the purchased course is a monthly, hour-long group online session, hosted by Dragana, or Miljana. The advantage of this opportunity is to produce the language that you have been learning at your own pace. I look forward to these monthly sessions with anticipation. Of course, there is engaging material being shared at this time of relaxed learning with other students. If you are looking for an online Serbian language course, look no further! I highly recommend the courses from Go Speak Serbian. I am already looking forward to the release of the next course module.
The course is great the way it is.
In this course the amazing teachers Dragana and Miljana explain the pronunciation of each and every sound in Serbian with images, demonstration and lots of usage examples. And of course each lecture is followed by a decent number of exercises. In addition, there are two huge and throughout sections about the two difficult themes in Serbian: the word accent and enclitics. I really enjoy studying with this course (as well as enjoyed the two other ones).
What I like about this pronunciation course: #1. The instructors show us how to recognize the sounds, how to make the sounds, and most importantly: how to know if we are doing it correctly. #2. The use of common words with those sounds and minimal pairs #3. The feedback given after we submit our recordings
This is BY FAR the best course / explanations I have found to help with pronunciation in Serbian (and Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin).
Dragana and Miljana are excellent teachers and give you extremely detailed explanations with lots of exercises to help practice new knowledge. Their focus on phonetics means that they give really practical and precise instructions – I realised I had been trying to make some sounds with my tongue in totally the wrong position before but no one had picked up what I was doing wrong. Plus, getting the personalised feedback on your pronunciation is fantastic!
While I still feel like I have a way to improve, I am clear on what I need to do to keep getting better – its all just really practice on my end. I know there are some videos from this course that I will watch again in the future to help with this. The enclitics bonus lesson was also incredibly useful and I had not come across any other material that explains this so well (or really at all).
If you are thinking about doing this course, just do it – it is absolutely worth every cent!

I’m taking Serbian Pronunciation course and I think it really helps me to improve my pronunciation and it is difficult to find this kind of course in Serbian so I’m happy about it. Only thing I can change it I would like it if course has more exercises like we are listening to text and hearing how things are pronouncing in context. But overall I’m quite happy with the course and I think it makes things very easy to understand and very useful and clear.
